A Griffin is a tenant who damages your property or one you have to spend a considerable amount of time and effort to chase after for rental payment for every month, taking away precious time that you could be spending with your loved ones, or, going on that vacation trip you’ve always wanted, and even costing you huge amount of money to repair your property and to evict. Simply put, a Griffin is someone you don’t ever want to rent your property to.

HOW ARE GRIFFINS CURATED?
Tenant Griffin uses a unique Griffin Screening System (GSS) to verify a report and make sure no tenant is wrongfully added to the system.
Step 1: Report
Landlords, property managers and real estate professionals report tenants and submit supporting documents such as the tenancy agreement, tenant’s work pass & identification document, as well as photos of damaged property and screenshots of conversations with the tenant.
Step 2: Review
Our Tenant Griffin assessment team will review the supporting documents submitted by the landlord, property manager, or, real estate professional. At this stage, we may request additional information for clarification or to further verify claims of the incident.
Step 3: Rate
Based on all information gathered from the report submitted, our Tenant Griffin assessment team will then decide if there is enough evidence against the reported tenant. Once confirmed, the reported tenant will be added to our Database of Griffins.
